KEVIN DEASY - Co-Founder & CTO  

Kevin has vast experience working in finance, creating start-ups, and running successful businesses across Ireland and in international markets. As a Senior IT and Company Director in industries as diverse as Investment Banking, Hedge Funds, Big Tech and MedTech. His career has led him to work in places like Texas, California, Frankfurt, London and the Caribbean.

Highlights have included running a Change Management team at BarCap, being a Programme Manager at GLG ( Europe’s largest Hedge Fund at the time), a senior internal consultant for Deutsche Bank, and Programme Manager for Digital Transformation of the 2nd fastest growing IT company in the world at the time. As a Senior program manager and IT Director across Investment Banking, IT Services and Hedge Fund Industries he worked at Barclays Capital, Accenture, Deutsch Bank, Hewlett Packard, and EMC Cloud Services. He moved into the IT industry and several years split between California and Ireland. 

As an entrepreneur, business owner, management consultant, and funder he has acted as Founder/CTO of IT and services companies, provided management consulting services to various IT and financial services companies and created IT infrastructure and cloud-based platforms as a service for banking, hedge fund and management consultant sectors.

Kevin studied Business and Japanese in The University of Limerick and has a BBS (HONS) Institute of Personnel and Development (qualified) and Fellow of the Institute of Analysts and Programmers. He has a passion for sustainability working on companies with carbon accounting solutions, and environmentally friendly waste management solutions and not for profit involved in sea and beach plastic clean ups.
